KV Golden Gloves Boxing / Fight 4 Fitness is owned and operated by Tim Hayes. Tim is an experienced competitive Boxing Coach and Trainer. He coached at Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing in Saint John for the over 10 years before establishing the KV Golden Gloves Boxing Club in 2008.
Tim is also a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has studied other martial arts such as: Karate, Aikido, and most recently has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Tim also has over 25 years experience working with youth in Saint John. He was employed at the Saint John Boys and Girls Club from 1982-2000 as a Youth Program Coordinator, Summer Program Supervisor as well as five years as a Daycare Teacher. He has been employed at the Saint John YMCA from 2002 until 2008 as Youth Program Coordinator, Day Camp Coordinator, Rock Wall Program Coordinator and as Floor Supervisor in the Health and Fitness department.
Tim has extensive training with children as he attended the Early Childhood Education program at NBCC. Tim has worked within schools in District 8 as a Rainbow’s Facilitator (a program aimed at school aged children who are dealing with a loss in their life such as death or divorce).

Certified ISKA Fitness Kickboxing Instructor
Certified YMCA Basic Fitness Theory
