Description of Classes
Amateur Boxing:
The facility will be open to anyone wanting to train in the sport of Boxing, whether it is for competition or for fitness and well being. Participants will be provided with a sufficient group warm up and will then learn proper techniques for footwork, punching skills, skipping, shadow boxing and training on heavy bags and speed bags. (for Fitness and Competition)
Private Boxing Sessions:
Cost: $25 per 30 minute session
Ready for the Ring:
Participants will learn real boxing and train the same way fighters do, the only difference being it is non-contact. You will be trained by an experienced and certified boxing trainer/coach doing the challenging training routines boxing is famous for. Learn footwork, technique, heavy bag, speed bag, reflex bag, skipping, shadowboxing as well as an Ab and core work. This program is an excellent exercise class to do with your husband, wife, or significant other. (Recreational Boxing)
Fight Like a Girl:
This class is a female only non-contact boxing class. The participants will get actual training in the sport of Boxing. The class focuses not only on boxing skills, but is an excellent fitness program that provides a full body workout. Because it is a class of females only, who are not getting in the ring to fight, the class provides a much less intimidating atmosphere for the participants and is an incredible way to improve fitness and relieve stress.
Little Ninjas:
This preschool program is designed as an introduction to the basic movements and techniques of martial arts and boxing. The class will help the children develop gross motor skills and social development skills in a fun movement filled class.
Silver Gloves:
The skills and drills of boxing in a non-contact format. This program will focus on fitness through boxing techniques. It will provide the participants with a fun, active and positive atmosphere while achieving wellness through exercise. Ages 5 to 8 years.
KickBoxing
Real kickboxing taught by real kickboxing competitors. Developed from Karate, Muay Thai, Kun Khmer and Boxing, it is a combination of the stand-up combat sports making use of punches and kicks. Kick Boxing can be practiced for self-defense, general fitness or as a contact sport. Taught by Brian Mazerolle and Tony Black (about Brian and Tony).
